In the Jockey Club in Buenos Aires, there are two different golf courses, the Red and the Blue. The first was designed by Alliser Mackenzie in 1928. The topography is formed by large greens and superb bunkers. The two golf courses have 18 holes each, the Blue (6,229 yards) and the Red (6,628).
This field is characterized for its large greens in the shape of inverted dishes and protected by large lateral bunkers. It possesses a great variety of trees, mostly pines, what does not impede that in some holes this layout can be wide open. You cannot miss the 10th hole of the Red Course, a par 5 not very long but that even to the long hitters has caused several problems. The green has a very pronounced slope that rejects the approaches that are not played with sharp precision.
