Overview
The Grand Hotel National, originally managed in the 1870s by Cesar Ritz
with
his chef Auguste Escoffier, combines tradition with comfort and is the
perfect venue for business and holidays. Rooms are overlooking the lake or
the city side and are individually designed in the original Fin du Sciecle
style. Situated on the lakeside promenade, it offers easy access to the old
city, all important sights, shopping and railway station.

In order to continue to satisfy the demands of our guests, constant
adaptations and renovations are required. To this end, we will be
undertaking certain refurbishments starting 1 November 2014 and scheduled
to run until the end of March 2015. The rooms and ground floor, including
the restaurant and swimming pool, will not be affected by this work.
Nevertheless, a certain amount of noise may be heard on work days from 9:30
a.m. to 12:00 noon and again from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. We would like to
