Created in 2006 for the concept store adjacent to the salvatore ferragamo museum in florence, ferragamo’s creations is an exclusive collection of his most well-know historic styles offered in a limited, numbered edition.
In 1938 Salvatore Ferragamo patented the cork wedge, innovative both in material and form. It is thanks to actress Judy Garland that the shoemaker of the stars turns this shoe a must, declining it in rainbow colors. An eccentric footwear, far from simple and linear shapes of the '40s, which demonstrates the creative capacity of Ferragamo in knowing how to combine design and colors.
