Overview
Las Praderas de Luján is far more than just a golf club. Las Praderas de Luján was created in 1977 by a
group of entrepreneurs whose vision was to develop a sporting community. Today the club is spread out
across a massive 250hectare site which includes football pitches, polo grounds, tennis courts, hockey
pitches and even an Olympicsized swimming pool. But the centrepiece is the Club de Campos de Golf Las
Praderas de Luján.
With 27 holes in three loops of nine designed in an Americanstyle by Emilio Serra, Las Praderas de Luján is
an impressive facility. Wide fairways, generous greens and strategic bunkering are key features of all three
loops, named: Betulas, Cañada and Luján. The Betulas nine measures a massive 3,612 metres from the
championship tees and is significantly longer than the other two loops that measure a more modest but
healthy 3,400 plus metres from the tips.
