Our Par 70 parkland course features tight tree lined fairways, water hazards and fast true greens, and is widely considered to be one of the finest in the county by amateurs and professionals alike, and currently enjoys 9th place in the top 100 golf courses in Essex.

 

Our golf club is situated in a beautiful area of North Cumbria where you are presented with stunning panoramic views of the Lake District mountains, the North Pennines, Talkin Tarn and the Southern Uplands of  South West Scotland.

 

Our club was founded in 1909 and the course was originally designed by James Braid. Golf World has described Brampton Golf club as ‘The Jewel of Cumbria’ with comments likening the course to a ‘mini Gleneagles’ and we were also pleased to be rated and featured in Golf Monthly’s 100 Hidden Gems.

 

The course is best described as undulating heathland with excellent natural drainage allowing golfers to enjoy year round games of golf.

 

Relax before and after your game with a drink or some food in our warm and comfortable clubhouse and bar where our staff will take care of you as you reflect on a great day’s golf. All our staff are dedicated to serving you and they are committed to making sure that you share the beauty and friendship of Brampton golf club.

 

In our Pro shop the professional has a fully stocked shop where a large range of quality items can be purchased. The Pro and his staff also run the practice range and offer first class instruction either on the course or on the designated practice areas.
