The Evergreen Laurel Hotel is a 5-Star International Hotel located along Penang s famous Gurney Drive. It is a 18-story building with 368 rooms and suites. All the rooms are spacious with uninterrupted view of the Sea or Georgetown and Penang Hill. There are 3 F And B outlets/ namely the Chinese Restaurant/ Coffee House and the Lounge. Recreational facilities include a fully equipped Health Center with sauna and jacuzzi. Meeting and conference facilities include a ballroom /seating capacity 500 persons/ and 4 meeting rooms.
The Penang State Government has implemented a mandatory Local Government Fee of RM3.00 per room per night with effective from 1st June 2014
This fee will be in addition to the 10PCT Service Charge and 6PCT Government Tax and to be added to the room bill and payable directly to the hotel upon check out
The Local Government Fee will be imposed on hotel guests who are staying from 1st June 2014 onwards and will apply to all bookings which were made prior to the enforcement date.
