The Country Club Johannesburg’s two exceptional championship golf courses offer members and guests two golfing experiences that are both world-class yet very different.

 

Woodmead golf course, opened in 1968, is an exceptional parkland course with tall trees, immaculate greens and a sense of history, and is host to the annual Telkom PGA championships. Adjacent to Woodmead, the newer Rocklands golf course offers a challenging, rolling course with sweeping views over northern Johannesburg.

 

Both Country Club Johannesburg golf courses are innovatively designed with well-maintained grounds, an excellent halfway house, friendly staff and knowledgeable caddies. Club members also have access to full-time teaching professionals through the golf coaching academy, a practice range and two pristine putting greens – not to mention the Club’s fully stocked golf pro shop.

 

Visitors to our two golf clubs in Johannesburg are welcome when accompanied by a member from Monday to Friday. Saturday mornings are reserved for members only, while members may invite two guests on Saturday afternoons and on Sundays.
