Conservation Lab

 

Set up in 2007, Banyan Tree Bintan's Conservation Lab continues its mission of reversing the trend of reduced island biodiversity by fighting unsustainable practices and habitat destruction. With a vision to protect threatened species and delicate ecosystems, the lab works with local communities and authorities to develop and promote alternative livelihood programmes that encourage the conservation of precious natural resources.

Kids' Club

 

This Kids' Club is located at the neighbouring Angsana Bintan and welcomes children aged three to 10 years old. Open daily, the Kid's Club programme includes activities such as baking, face painting, sand castle building, sand art, art tee-shirts, cap painting, Riau dancing classes, pool games, Pirates of Bintan and the exhilarating Up-Up Away.

Golf

 

Currently undergoing a major golf course upgrade project, Laguna Golf Bintan offers an exhilarating, unparalleled golfing experience. Far-detached from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, nature truly defines Laguna Golf Bintan with diverse terrains of forestlands, natural wetlands, beachfront coconut groves and stunning historic rock formations.

 

The golf course at this time is reduced to a 9-hole facility, with all golfers playing around the first newly upgraded 9 holes twice to make a full 18 hole round.

 

Billed as a "New Day, New Dawn, New Beginning", our new front 9 layout plays out towards the South China Sea with the unique ocean views on holes 2 to 4, before wrapping around the tranquil water lagoons of holes 6 to 8, and finally challenging the golfers with a winding uphill 9th hole played towards the clubhouse.
